Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of Bangladesh successfully organized a workshop on “OCAG Strategic Plan (2013-2018), Myths and Realities: New Target for 2017-18” which was held on 5th July, 2017 at Pan Pacific Sonargaon. DCAG (Senior) Mohammed Iqbal Hossain presented the Keynote Paper of the workshop. He expressed his firm commitment to ensure transparency and accountability of public financial management and governance by implementing OCAG Strategic Plan in its remaining one year period. To achieve its vision & mission and to keep harmony with the international auditing practices, Entity Wide Audit (EWA) and Risk Based Audit is a prime need instead of traditional Unit Based Auditing system. All DGs of different audit directorates have been given specific targets for the year 2017-18 and Concerned DGs presented their operational plan for the year 2017-18 to achieve the targets.
