Presentation on Auditing Preparedness for the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) - On 21 August 2017, Mr. Zahurul Islam, DG, Commercial Audit Directorate along with Mr. Hasibur Rahman, ACAG (Report), OCAG presented a summary of the Meeting held in UN HQ, New York from 20 to 21 July, 2017. The meeting was jointly organized by UNDASA & IDI and participated by members of 45 SAIs, representatives from INTOSAI bodies & other stakeholders on the issue of “Auditing Preparedness for the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”. Both Mr. Zahurul Islam and Mr. Hasibur Rahman presented the background of the meeting, INTOSAI and SDGs, main themes & accomplishments of the meeting, things to be considered while auditing SDG, preparedness of GOB & what OCAG can do. Honorable Comptroller and Auditor General (C&AG) of Bangladesh presided on the Presentation Session. CGA, CGDF, DCAG(Senior) and other high officials of the OCAG were present in the meeting. In the presentation session, new dynamic and re-designed website of the OCAG was also inaugurated by the honorable C&AG of Bangladesh.
